Bryce Canyon National Park

Here are my top ten pics of Bryce Canyon with The Dude.

It's not a natural arch, but it's still cool.

Welcome to Bryce.

Canyonlands National Park

We spent the day at Canyonlands. Here are a few pics. This is more of a great place to hike/backpack. Not really so scenic up close, but from a viewpoint, it's killer.

These three shots are from a scenic view point above wind whistle camp ground. My narrow lens SO couldn't do it justice. VERY beautiful. It would be amazing during sunrise.

Going into Canyonlands propper.

All the rest are just random shots from CanyonLands, the ribbon is from the drunk chick at the mini-town within the park.

Arches National Park

Beautiful view to wake up to.

Just down the gravel trail a little bit.

Awesome fins. Don't think they have a name, but they're cool.

A cool balanced rock.

And awesome tree. Right next to some arches, but the tree was awesome.

Some cool arch/caves.

The arch next to those arch caves.

The end of a 4x4's only trail we found. Dude is their on the back.

Another awesome arch.

This is the sandy road that the Dude insisted we go down. I didn't realize it was sand, so the instant we turned onto it, we hit the ground. Luckily it was nice deep soft soft and nothing got hurt.

Antelope Island, Salt Lake City, and camping at Arches

The Dude took me to Antelope Island, Salt Lake City, and we got to Arches National Park just in time to camp in the dark.

Just a nice view of Salt Lake from Antelope Island.

Just another nice view.

The Dude with some Buffalo. No antelope though. Curious.

A zoom of the Buffalo.

We couldn't stop close enough to the Temple to get any good pics, so here is a cool orthodox church we found a couple blocks away.

Our first Oooh wow scene of Utah rocks.

That's right, Seattlites bring the rain with us!

Sunsets make GREAT rock pictures.

Another Sunset/rock picture.

It's a terrible picture, but this is our camp site. Lots of misquito's but it was SOOOooo far out their. We had to go up a 4x4 trail to get their.

Yellowstone National Park

Welcome to Yellowstone.

Just really pretty.

Mid Point Geyser. I thought this would be old faithful. It's not, but it's still pretty awesome.

I LOVE this picture. Someone has to go back to the park and change the writing to a recipe for "Child Stew".

At Old Faithful.

Waiting on old faithful to blow. I filmed Dude and the eruption which really was quite amazing on my GoPro Hero HD, but all I got was a corrupted file that won't render. I think maybe it got too hot. I thought it was a good cap, so no Dude pics during the eruption.

Hmm, makes you wanna bathe in it don't it? So nice and hot!

Maybe a tad cooler.

Heard of Buffalo. It's one of these bozo's that heard my deer whistle and tried to charge me. Ha ha, a Ninja IS faster than a pissed off Bison! Afraid theirs no Dude in the shot because that's mega zoomed. On the key is another shot of the Dude with the herd in the distance.

I had planned to camp on Antelope Island, but didn't make it on time. So we camped out here. At a rest stop.

I-90 Leg

Started the day out before the Sun did. The Dude offered to warm up my bike. So far I'm liking this day.

We were barely on the western side of the Cascades (The entire trip is on I-90) when I had to make a stop, so we figured we'd take a shot. The Dude IS a ham for the camera.

Same place(different angle) as the last one. The Dudes just helping with my cold weather gear. Frog Toggs worked out awesomely btw.

Just some really pretty hills in the background still with snow. This is coming off the eastern side of the cascades.

In these two we get a taste of Eastern Washington's flat lands. Quite the contrast from Western Washington.

Here are the others, but I'm too tired to label them all now. It turned out to be a 15 hour ride. I'm bushed. Going to sleep. If I don't finish 'em tomorrow it may be a while before I do since I'll be camping until the 12th. But don't worry, we'll keep taking pics of each other.
